Key Changes by Nate!September, 14 2009

As Jason mentioned before, Nate is a little camera shy.  Hopefully we will coax him out of his computer pretty soon.  Our fear is that he will see his shadow and then we will have to endure six more weeks of winter!  Just kidding Nate!   I better move on to his BIG announcement before I get myself in trouble.

Starting today, you can now hear key change samples on our website!  Let me show you how it works.  Find a song you want to sing and go to the song's page.  Here is an example of the song "A Change In Me'" from Beauty & the Beast.  Look on the right hand side of the picture under CD ONLY OPTIONS. 

We have added the following 3 things under the Key Change box: 
1) The key (here it is in the key of  "A")
2) A Small Flash Player button and
3) A Slider Bar that lets you fast forward through the song





Here is a close up view.



To hear what the song would sound like in a different key, click the drop down button in the key change box.  Here is an example of selecting UP 3 half steps.
Notice the Key has changed to C. 

Now hit the play button and listen to the song.  Depending on the speed of your internet, it might take a few seconds to load.  Nate added loading information so you could see how long it is taking to load. 

Don't be alarmed by the sound of the vocal!  Voices do not take well to key changes.  Once you quit laughing, focus on the sound of the music.

Find the key change that best fits your voice, add it to your cart and complete your purchase as usual.

The key change samples are limited to 3 steps up and 3 steps down.  If you need a bigger key change, please select Other and type it in the the Please Specify Changes box.

Nate is hard at work on the next phase of this project and tells me that Coming Soon...key changes will be DOWNLOADABLE!!!!
